DETAILED PROGRAM


DAY 01:  ARRIVE KATHMANDU


Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport

On arrival in Kathmandu: Having cleared immigration, collected your luggage and passed through customs, please make your way towards the exit of the terminal building where you will see a bank of people waiting for you.

Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu


DAY 02:  KATHMANDU


Breakfast is at Hotel.

Visit Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath & Patan

Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the heart of old city Kathmandu. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity. In this tour, we visit the 17th Century Durbar complex, Hanuman Dhoka, Paravati temple, great Bell and Drum, Bhairav and Taleju Temple. All around the splendour of historical monuments is the hustle & bustle of the market place. Vegetable vendors, trees of flutes, salesmen with their wares displayed on their person, souvenir hawkers, and street shop selling imported goods and tucked away in a quiet corner the glittering bead market for custom made bead necklaces.

Swoyambhunath (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - Swoyambhunath literally means 'Self-Existent One.' Swoyambhunath is believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago. An inscription dated 460 A.D. states that the construction was carried out by King Manadeva. By the thirteenth century Swoyambhunath had developed into an important Buddhist learning site. It is also known as the Monkey Templeas there are holy monkeys living in parts of the temple in the North West. Swayambhunath occupies a central position; it is probably the most sacred among Buddhist Pilgrimage sites.

Evening, you will visit Patan Durbar Sqaure.

In Patan, the old Newar city, you will see the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing temple of Taleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla, Krishna Mandir, Sati Temple, Hiranya Varna Mahabiar (the golden temple), and Mahabouddha with views of old carved wooden windows through the streets, curios shop and Bazaars.

Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu.


DAY 03:  KATHMANDU - POKHARA


Breakfast is at Hotel.

Drive to Pokhara [approx. 210 km, 6/7 hrs ]

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

Arrive Pokhara and check in at hotel. transfer to Phewa Lake for enjoy one hour boat ride

Phewa Lake: The centre of attraction in Pokhara is the Phewa Lake - the second largest lake in the Kingdom. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in the middle. After boat ride free for shopping in the lake side market.

DAY 04:  POKHARA


Breakfast is at Hotel.

Early morning transfer to Sarangkot for sunrise.

At an altitude of 1592 meters, this mountain sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa Tal. Sarangkot is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, where on a clear day can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayan Mountains of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail.

Back to the hotel for Breakfast. Continue sightseeing tour of Pokhara valley

Bindabasini Temple - This temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga (manifested as Bhagwati, a blood-thirsty aspect of the goddess) is located near the busy Old Bazaar of Pokhara. The white pagoda-styled building at some 3000 feet above sea level is of great religious importance to Hindus living in Pokhara. People throng to this temple daily and also offer sacrifices of animals. One may also get to witness a Hindu wedding ceremony taking place in the temple premises.

David’s Fall

Devi's Fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall lying about 2-Km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Gupteswore Cave: One of the largest caves in Pokhara dedicated to Lord Shiva is another nature's wonder in Pokhara.

DAY 05:  POKHARA - KATHMANDU


Breakfast is at Hotel.

Drive back to Kathmandu. [approx. 210 km, 6/7 hrs ]

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel for Check –In.

Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu.


DAY 06:  DEPART - KATHMANDU


Breakfast is the Hotel.

Transfer to the International airport to connect the flight to onward destination.
